About me and my crazy obsession...

I decided to start a blog about all of my furniture up cycling projects.  Not sure if I am doing this to share my ideas or to promote self-therapy for my obsession that sometimes "gets out of hand" according to my husband:)  I am an Army wife to my amazing husband and I a momma to 2 golden retrievers.  I have grown up on a farm all of my life doing everything that boys can do, but better:)  After I punch the timecard at the end of the day, I go home and put on my painting clothes and go to work doing what I LOVE to do... sand, paint; sometimes not in that order.  There is something about taking an old piece of furniture that someone would rather throw in a dumpster and put a little (sometimes a lot) of elbow grease into the furniture, add a dash of paint and a pinch of hope and create a beautiful  upcycled piece of furniture that will go to a home that will appreciate it.  I look forward to sharing my upcoming projects on my blog and get input on ideas, questions, and comments that you have.
